The new Muverang mobility service already operates in Medellín, Bogotá and Cali. Pragma, as the project’s strategic partner, works to deliver value to the initiative’s users.
Muverang derives from the Sura-Celsia-Bancolombia partnership as a sustainable mobility solution aiming to contribute to the well-being of people, companies, and the environment.
Through Muverang, people and companies have access to electric scooters, bikes, cars, or motorcycles, thus reducing CO2 emissions and decongesting roadways in the cities where it operates.
Muverang offers three business models:
Sura, Celsia, and Bancolombia decided to rise to a new challenge, different from, but leveraging, their core businesses to create great value for people, companies, and cities. Thus, Muverang was born as a set of solutions around everyday mobility whose chief premises are sustainability, electric mobility, and the use of technology for better decision-making. This challenge required very good technological bases from the beginning, including the development of end-user applications, a web page for self-managing user subscriptions, and web access for business customers and the administrative / operational team. The solution should also provide the best customer experience with the least possible friction and the best usability.
Pragma formed a team of 17 people for the project. We work under the agile Scrum framework, with cloud deployment in Amazon Web Services, to improve delivery times and offer better quality in the final product. The team is made up of pragmatists with various skills:
The project started on February 10, 2020. Impulsa Development began in May, while the user transactional gateway was launched in June. The user version of Conecta was launched in August. The first production versions of Activa were released in March; this solution begins operation with users in October.
Initially, Muverang would be available only for Medellín; however, due to the great impact and reception, the initiative has been already introduced in Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali.
Besides, the project’s policy is to ensure efficient service provision and continuous improvements that cater to customer needs. Pragma continues to work hand in hand with Muverang to create value for the initiative, the business, and end users.
Muverang wishes to establish itself as a mobility solution in Colombia that adds to the sustainable development of cities, business, competitiveness, and user well-being.
